L’ UNPERFECT

Most of the perfumes we know are mainstream, produced by large cosmetic companies and marketed to a broad audience. Niche perfumes emphasize artistry, rare ingredients, innovative compositions, crafted objects, unexpected aesthetics - creativity is at the center.

Founder & CEO

Célia

I’ve been around fragrances all my life. As a child, the posters in my room didn’t include rock stars - only the media pages of luxury fragrances. There was a romantic and beautiful side of it that really touched me.

No surprise having developed my career between fashion (Zara group and BCBGMAXAZRIA) and luxury fragrances (Guerlain, Loewe, Acqua di Parma, L’Occitane). Having lived in Lisbon, Madrid and Paris was an incredible experience - learning to enjoy the immense diversity of people, languages and habits coming from it.

L’ Unperfect found its way in me - I really had to do it.

Founder

Américo

I remember when I started working for Helena Rubinstein, at the beginning of my career. I was mesmerized by it - the beautiful images - the beautiful images, the stories, the technicity of the products.

From there to Guerlain, Loewe, Acqua di Parma, Givenchy, Kenzo, Fendi, Pucci was a small step. I was fortunate enough to have contact with people from Europe, Americas and Asia - that was an incredible experience.

Coming back home was the best decision of my life. Thought about L’ Unperfect so many times, for so long … had to do it..

The Unperfect Creatives

Those who translate imperfection into beauty, memory into matter.

LOOK AT YOU, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE
LOOK AT YOU, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE
LOOK AT YOU, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE

GETTING BY. SMILING AT THE ODDS. BECAUSE YOU’RE THE ODD ONE OUT. OR JUST BECAUSE. LOOK AT YOU IGNORING THE THINGS THAT DON’T GROW. EMBRACING THE ONES THAT DO. STANDING OUT. STANDING YOUR GROUND. LOOK AT YOU, UNPERFECTING YOURSELF. BECOMING YOUR NEXT OF KIN. THE ONE OF A KIND. LOOK AT YOU, LOOKING AT THEM.

L’UN. UNPERFECT.

Our packaging

An artisan’s work
Guillermo had done such a wonderful work with the images, we were keen on finding a material appealing to touch, like a fabric. At the front, we have the images of each perfume. The Manifesto and perfume pyramid is in the back of every pack. The box is done by hand, an homage to portuguese craftsmanship.

Bottle

Mine. Personal.
Opening the box is a personal ritual. Inside, you find a square bottle, radiant with light, as if holding a secret within. The label and the cap echo the fabric texture of the box.

Now that you’ve seen how it’s made

discover how it feels.
